About

Applied Theatre Collective (ATC) is a collective of artists, educators, mediators and humanitarian workers who use innovative, participatory activities to curate creative space for dialogue and action.

ATC consults for organizations and groups seeking creative ways to engage in the issues that most impact them. We aid in the development of strategies to achieve individual and collective goals.

ATC’s methodology is grounded in asset-based, experiential learning processes which encourage new perspectives to emerge. Our strategies include facilitation, popular education practices, mediation, conflict transformation, and restorative justice. Therapeutic arts strategies such as visual art, storytelling, improvisation and role play are also used, as we believe access to creative forums is essential to the wellness and health of every individual and community.
